Hypnotherapy
What it is...and what it isn't!

Hypnosis is the oldest and most natural mode of healing known to man.  The ancient Egyptians knew that within us all there is the potential to uplift, heal and inspire ourselves and others and that hypnosis is the best tool to access, mobilize and actualize this potential.  Unfortunately, hypnosis has become shrouded in a mysticism of misconceptions and fears.  So, here’s the truth!

The first thing to say about Hypnotherapy is:

‘Don’t expect to feel hypnotised!’

Nobody can hypnotise you, it is something that you choose for yourself.  The experience of trance is different for everyone.  Most clients experience a deep relaxation, within which they have total consciousness and control and hear every word that is said to them.  Don’t expect to be ‘out of it’.  You are in control throughout and simply can’t be made to do anything that is against your ethics and values whilst in trance, your unconscious mind will protect you from that.  In total safety and with full control, trance is a wonderful experience, allowing complete mental and physical relaxation.  Something to look forward to, but never to fear! 

There is also the belief that only the gullible and weak minded can undergo hypnosis, however, the opposite is true.  People of above average intelligence who are able to concentrate and those with active and vivid imaginations actually make the best clients and will get the most from hypnosis.

Hypnotherapy can be used alone, or in conjunction with NLP and Time Line Therapy, to ensure that you can quickly and easily make wonderful changes from within yourself, whatever it is that you need to change.
