An NLP Practitioner Training designed specifically with Equestrian Sports in mind. 

 

The training content looks the same as a regular Intensive NLP Practitioner Training however, the 7 day face to face training is designed to resonate with horse riders, handlers, competitors, teachers and trainers.

 

Horses are extremely empathic, they feel everything you think.  So, in order to form a strong and supportive connection with these majestic animals, our internal thought processes which produce our emotional states are critical elements to our success.

Elegant language and Successful Communications

Ø  Building and maintaining rapport with your students and with your horse.  Rapport is the key to successful communication, no rapport, no communication.

Ø  The Meta Model, a linguistic model which equips us to search for what hasn’t been said and gain complete understanding of others.  Essential to assessing the needs of riding pupils at all levels. 

Ø  Learn flexibility in your language to enable you to communicate elegantly with your students and ensure that your teaching is understood.

Ø  Recognise how people think when they do what they do so that you are able to communicate, influence and negotiate successfully.

Ø  Use Milton Model linguistic patterns to encourage others to think differently and break down internal barriers to success in equestrian pursuits.

Easy and Effortless Change

Ø  Techniques which enable exciting changes in self and others.  Learn how to change the internal representations of things we don’t like about our equestrian experience and therefore change our internal state and behaviour.

Ø  Achieve total self belief, confidence and self esteem and learn how to assist others to do the same.

Ø  How to remove unwanted minor negative states and behaviours which we experience when riding, in self and others through Swish Patterns.

Ø  Change through stimulus response.  Maintain positive and helpful internal states at all times through the process of Anchoring and therefore help your horse to maintain the same positive state.

Ø  Learn how to permanently remove a phobia or past trauma in a comfortable and easy manner.  Maybe you have suffered a bad fall or have a phobia (an irrational fear) embedded within your riding.

As Tad James is the creator of Time Line Therapy^TM Techniques, we are able to offer our Equestrian Practitioner students some introductory training.  Your horse will recognise fear or any other negative emotion, just as they recognise positivity.  Time Line Therapy™ Techniques remove all your negative emotion, allowing your horse to feel that freedom.

Ø  Learn how to elicit your Time Line and the Time Lines of others.

Ø  Discover how to guide someone through a test flight over their Time Line.

Ø  Learn the technique to remove all negative emotion from the past and inappropriate negative emotion from the future.  Many people describe the feeling they get after doing this technique as ‘having the weight of the world lifted from their shoulders’, imagine how your horse would feel when they recognise that!

How we structure your NLP for Equestrian Sport© Practitioner Training Course

Part 1: Pre-course study

The pre-course study is identical to that of our standard Intensive NLP Practitioner Certification© Training.  As soon as you book your NLP Practitioner Course, we will send you your pre-course study pack so that you can start your learning immediately, in your own time and at your own pace.  The pack, which is included in the cost of your training, contains:

Ø  A Pre-Study Programme in CD format.  The CDs have been designed and narrated by Dr Tad James and take you through the whole of the Practitioner Training, so you will be familiar with the theory and techniques before you attend the training.  You never know, some of it may be installed unconsciously too!

Ø  A comprehensive course manual

Ø  Two excellent and inspirational books

Ø  A learning worksheet test, via e-mail, which you complete as you learn to ensure you have a firm grasp of each topic. 

Listening to the CD pack in conjunction with the course manual and reading the books will give you an excellent understanding of NLP at Practitioner level and enable you to complete your worksheet test.  The completed worksheet is e-mailed to us and we will give you feedback and help out with any areas you are unsure of.  You will be able to contact your trainer at any time during your pre-course study, we are there to guide you through the study work and ensure all of your questions are answered.

 

Part 2: 7 Days Intensive NLP Practitioner Training

Once you have completed your worksheet test to the pass rate standard, which is a pre-requisite of attendance, you then attend the face to face training. Spending 7 days with your trainer and mastering your new skills really is the fun bit!  The training is highly interactive and focused specifically on how you will translate the theory you have learned into your equestrian world.  You will have lots of time to practice, to ensure you leave the course a confident and elegant Practitioner of NLP for Equestrian Sport. 

Over the course of the week, our trainers will always be available, so if you feel you would like to talk to them privately, outside of the course, you can.  If you have a particular issue that you feel is not appropriate for a group environment, then our trainers will help you to resolve it outside of the training room. 

After you graduate as a Certified Practitioner of NLP for Equestrian Sport©, you are welcome to contact your trainer for any additional support that you require or any questions you need answering.  We love to hear about your achievements and encourage you to stay in touch.

The NLP for Equestrian Sport© Practitioner Training is approved by the American Board of NLP (ABNLP) and Quest for Success Ltd is an ABNLP approved NLP Training Institute.

 

Your training can be held at your equestrian facility, subject to the availability of an appropriate training space, or at an independent venue.  The course runs fantastically well with a minimum of six and a maximum of 18 delegates.
